Blog: Balanced Rhinoplasty

One month post rhinoinplasty. The hump on an Asian nose is treated differently than a standard nasal hump. The bump is partially reduced, but additional tissue is used to add height between the eyes (ear cartilage, in this case) as well and strengthening the nasal tip in order to make it project more forward. This “balanced rhinoplasty” is necessary to prevent over-flattening the bridge of the nose.
