Jaw Reduction Patient 09

Description:
This jawline shaving is performed from inside the mouth, with no external scars. The jaw contour is made softer and more feminine. The result is a more oval appearance from a frontal view and a less square prominence from a side view. The procedure is not particularly painful. Most people take 1.5 weeks before returning to work.

Patient 28 – Rhinoplasty, Chin Augmentation, Jaw Botox

Description:
Patient Age: 24
Procedures: Rhinoplasty, Chin Augmentation, Jaw Botox
Nasal surgery, chin implant (from inside the mouth) and botox to slim the jaw. Restructuring the nose to clear the airway (blocked by an overgrown septum) gave a secondary benefit of a narrower tip, straightened bridge and softened profile.
Patient 29 – Jaw Reduction

Description:
Patient Age: 23 years old
Procedure: Jaw Reduction
This patient benefited from shaving the jaw bone to narrow both the frontal view as well as rounding the square bone edge on the side view. Buccal fat was easily accessible and removed through the same mouth incision. Recovery time 8 days. This procedure is quite difficult for a surgeon to master due to the tight angles involved.
Patient 42 – Jaw Botox
Description:
Procedure: Non-Surgical Jaw Reduction
Botox to the jawline is used to make a face more narrow by shrinking the chewing muscle located at the jaw corners. It is also useful for those who grind their teeth at night. The shrinking effect takes 3 weeks to see and lasts 6 months. After several sessions, the duration of effect is longer and results can be semi-permanent. We have the longest known series in North America, starting in 1999.
